Riding back to Old Route 66

In Springfield, Missouri

The following photos were taken in and around the Springfield, MO area on the 3rd Annual Ride for the Relay Reunion.  Enjoy and eMail me if you have any questions.

I hope you didn't miss out on all the FUN at the 2018 Ride for the Relay Reunion!  Yep, Springfield, Missouri on Historic Route 66 was the site of the 3rd Annual Ride for the Relay Reunion to be held June 14 - 17, 2018.  Also on Saturday evening June 16 we all participated in the Relay for Life event in Jorden Valley Park, Springfield, Missouri.   We had a tent and we were selling shirts, cap, pins....well you get the picture.  All to help find a cure for Cancer.

Roy and Virginia were our planners for this  special event.  What a job they did on arranging everything and for making our

3rd Ride for the Relay Reunion a great success.  Their eMail address is below, drop them a line and let them know how much they are apprecated.

More pictures will be added as I get them.  We still need the Saturday Relay for Life Event.

Accommodations for our event was at the historic motor inn "Rail Haven Motel" right on Old Route 66.  It had recently been renovated but still had the nostalgia of the early days.  We got a special rate for our group and we were taken vary good care of.  A total of 40 rooms were blocked for us, we filled all our rooms.

Your hosts for the event was Roy (Ory) and Virginia (Little Tank) Staeger.  Roy and Virginia are members of the All the Way Gang and have become friends of many of us over the years of their involvement.  They are very involved with Gold Wing Road Riders Association and are always riding their Goldwing Trike somewhere.  With them living in Springfield, Missouri and knowing the surrounding area, I am knew they would have many great rides lined up and they did.  It was a wonderful display of effort on their part and we thank them very much for all the hard work.
